Marla,
I love Dr Eger。 The Choice has been a favorite of mine this year。 Her story, her healing, her realistic approach to suffering and her emphasis on choice, freedom and meaning are worth your time。 This is her follow up to The Choice where she goes through 12 lessons to help you choose freedom and joy in the midst of life’s challenges。 In her words, “Honey, may you also choose to give up the prison and do the work to be free。 To find in your suffering your own life lessons。 To choose which legacy t I love Dr Eger。 The Choice has been a favorite of mine this year。 Her story, her healing, her realistic approach to suffering and her emphasis on choice, freedom and meaning are worth your time。 This is her follow up to The Choice where she goes through 12 lessons to help you choose freedom and joy in the midst of life’s challenges。 In her words, “Honey, may you also choose to give up the prison and do the work to be free。 To find in your suffering your own life lessons。 To choose which legacy the world inherits。 To hand down the pain - or to pass on the gift。” 。。。more
Sharon Gausch,
Edith Eger is a blessing to the world, a voice that every one of us needs to hear。 The Gift expands upon the message of Eger’s first book, The Choice, showing the reader a path through hardship and suffering, large or small, to a place where we can reclaim freedom and joy。 Engagingly written, simple yet profound, this is a book to return to over and over again。
Barb,
Transformative book about post traumatic growth。 This one is going in my library next to Viktor Frankl’s book and my other library treasures。

Tania,
I’ve met Dr。 Eger and I knew she was such an impressive woman。 I was young and self absorbed and didn’t even realize what an opportunity I had in front of me when I met this incredible lady。 I took so many notes listening to the audiobook I decided to buy the hardcover…this is the kind of book that I feel I will refer back to throughout so many different phases of life。
Estefania,
Jill Morningstar,
Extraordinary。 Each chapter consists of short stories that convey heartbreaking struggles with many references to the author's time in the concentration camp where her parents were murdered。 The author uses these stories to show us how to be transformed, how to forgive and and how to move forward。 Amazing。 Extraordinary。 Each chapter consists of short stories that convey heartbreaking struggles with many references to the author's time in the concentration camp where her parents were murdered。 The author uses these stories to show us how to be transformed, how to forgive and and how to move forward。 Amazing。 。。。more

。。。more

C。r。 Comacchio,
This book tells a tragic story—the author survived the brutality that was the Holocaust—but it is also a testament to her unfailing hope and faith and resilience。 It really is a gift, and one that will remind most readers that it is possible to come out on the other side, no matter the nature of the suffering。
Sonja,
Listed to the audio book。 Beautiful。 Tovah Feldsher has the perfect voice to read this book。 A great book on forgiveness and reflection and learning。
Amy Doram,
Edith Eger had led a truly remarkable life and in this book she shares her coping mechanisms, including how you can overcome limiting self belief。 It took me quite a while to read the book as I kept picking it up, reading a while then leaving what I had read to digest for a few weeks/ months before picking it up again。 There is so much to take in, both about Edith’s story but how it resonated with our own experiences。 Empowering and humbling。
Shirley Conley,
